From July 8 to 11, the genocide committed against Armenians Museum-Institute hosted students from George School in Pennsylvania, United States, as part of a summer school organized in cooperation with the Genocide Education Project.

This was the first time that high school students from the United States visited the Museum-Institute as part of an educational program dedicated to the genocide committed against Armenians. During the four-day program, they participated in thematic lectures and educational visits, studying the history of the genocide committed against Armenians, the role of propaganda and the media during mass atrocities, the significance of survivor testimonies, as well as the life of Aurora Mardiganian and the film Auction of Souls.

As part of the program, the students also visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, the Matenadaran, and several historical and cultural sites across Armenia, becoming acquainted with the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage. The Museum-Institute emphasized that such initiatives play an important role in genocide education, preserving historical memory, and strengthening human rights awareness among young people.
