Azerbaijan expert Tatev Hayrapetyan addressed the issue of Artsvashen, noting that she has not encountered any publications in the Azerbaijani information space in which Artsvashen is presented as Armenian territory and its return to Armenia is demanded.

According to her, instead, the Azerbaijani media have expressed positive reactions to statements made by the Armenian authorities.

Hayrapetyan believes that the focus should be not on discussions about new concessions, but on ways to prevent them. In her assessment, Baku is not preparing to return Artsvashen; therefore, Armenia must consistently work to prevent further territorial concessions.
