The flag of the “Dialogue” public organization, which was displayed during demonstrations held in 2017–2019 in Moscow’s Suvorovskaya Square in memory of the victims of the Genocide committed against Armenians, was raised on the summit of Mount Ararat at an altitude of 5,165 meters above sea level, as a symbol of friendship among people from different countries, mutual respect, historical memory, and unity around shared values.

The ascent, led by Elena Shuvaeva, a member of the “Dialogue” organization, was her eighth. The group also included scientist Tatiana Yangaikina from Moldova. All members of the group returned safely to Armenia.
