Russian peacekeepers provided targeted assistance to internally displaced people in Artsakh. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“Specialists of the Humanitarian Response Center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh provided targeted humanitarian assistance to displaced people and large families in Stepanakert,” it was reported.
The charity organization “Mercy” provided assistance. “We have an individual approach with each family, today we provided shoes to children and adults, each child received two pairs of shoes,” said Dmitry Tusidi, a representative of the peacekeeping contingent.
Residents are also allocated basic necessities: shoes and clothes, washing powder, appliances for heating food, kitchen appliances, bedding, personal hygiene products and toys.
In total, from November 2020 to this day, more than 6,700 internally displaced people have received humanitarian and medical assistance from Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh .
