November 16, 2021 at 13: 00 the military-political leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan has grossly violated paragraph 4 of Article 2 of the UN Charter, the requirements of paragraphs “a”, “b” and “c” of the resolution of the XXIX session of the UN General Assembly, article 8-bis of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, adopted on June 17, 1998, using prohibited means and methods of warfare, motivated by national hatred, using armed forces, using artillery, armored vehicles and assorted small arms, encroached on the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia, unleashing an aggressive war and carrying out an act of aggression.

    The Azerbaijani armed forces, waging an aggressive war, were aimed at achieving military priority, grossly violating the norms of the Geneva Conventions “on the protection of victims of international armed conflicts”. A criminal case has been opened in the Central Military Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia under a number of articles of the RA Criminal Code.

Western Armenia strongly condemns Azerbaijan’s criminal act and calls on the civilized world to soberly assess the current situation, and the entire Armenian people to unite and fight together for justice.
