In the Archesh province of the Van province of Western Armenia, human bones and ceramic products have been found, which, according to calculations, belong to the Iron Age.

Citizens, having met with human bones on the shore of Lake Van, informed the relevant authorities. On the basis of awareness, a lecturer of the Department of Archaeology of the Faculty of Literature of the University of the Century of Van ASSOC conducted a study in the area. Doctor  Hakan Yilmaz and researcher of the Department of Archeology Sinan Kilych.

As a result of research, it turned out that human bones, fragments of ceramics belong to the Iron Age.
