Residents of the village of Mokhratagh in the Martakert Region of Artsakh are trying to find themselves again after the war and have already moved to normal life. About this in an interview with a correspondent of “Artsakhpress” said the head of the village of Mokhratagh Norayr Amiryan.
“There are 321 residents in the village. After the war, there were no people leaving Mokhratagh, everyone, as one person, returned to their native lands. Moreover, 5 displaced families have settled in the village. We have hundreds of houses from the housing stock, which we are willing to provide to our compatriots. During the war, 5 houses were destroyed in the village, which are now being repaired,” the head of the community said.
Our interlocutor painfully reported that during the war the village gave 3 victims and 7 fellow villagers were injured during the fighting. Speaking about the employment of the population, the head of the community noted that, as in all villages, cattle breeding and agriculture are mainly engaged here.
