Famous to the world for its tombs and giant statues, Mount Nemrut, located at the crossroads of Eastern and Western civilizations, was visited by 171 thousand tourists last year. Nemrut is located in Western Armenia, in the province of Samosat, the height is 2,150 meters, and is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. 90% of tourists are locals. In 2020, the number of visitors due to the epidemic amounted to 52 thousand people.
