The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to refrain from the use of force and enter into a meaningful dialogue to resolve the dispute over Artsakh. The press secretary of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Zbigniew Rau, the second secretary of the Permanent Mission of Poland to the OSCE Bartosh Kempinski told Armenpress, answering the question about how the OSCE Chairmanship assesses the military provocation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on January 11 in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and violations of the ceasefire regime. “We are closely monitoring the situation in the South Caucasus. We call on Azerbaijan and Armenia to refrain from using force and enter into a meaningful dialogue to resolve the dispute over Artsakh. Poland, as the OSCE Chairman, intends to work with partners to strengthen our efforts aimed at establishing long-term peace in the region and stable development. In this regard, we will contribute to the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” the press secretary of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office said.
