In order to be included in the collection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art of the Pompidou Center of France, S. Parajanov’s “Triptych” – “Kiev Frescoes” (1966), “Hakob Hovnatanyan” (1967) and “Arabanakhsher Pirosmani” (1985) restored films were handed over 35 mm film. It should be noted that Parajanov’s “Hakob Hovnatanyan” (1967) is the first Armenian film included in the museum’s collection. News.am was informed about this from the Public Relations and Information Department of the RA Ministry of Education and Science. The entire process of restoring Parajanov’s three films was presented by the partner of the National Film Center of Armenia, curator of the “Classics of Armenian Cinema” program and film restoration expert Daniel Bird. The event was attended by the Director of the National Film Center of Armenia Shushanik Mirzakhanyan and representatives of the French branch of AGBU.
