The Jahuk fortress, built on the Mets Zab River of Bolotuk county of Korchayk province of Western Armenia, was built in the 11th-9th centuries and was reconstructed in subsequent areas. The citadel is located in a convenient location of a mountain peak. The walls are  made of stone, now destroyed. The ruins of the complex are located around the citadel, at the walls and nearby walls. The fortress is now destroyed.
