The village of Kherkhan in the Martuni region of Artsakh has 128 inhabitants. This was announced by the head of the community  Grisha Karapetyan. “We have 18 houses in the free housing stock of the village, which we will  provide to our displaced compatriots. There are 15 students in the school. There is no kindergarten in the village, but we have 16 preschool children,” the head of the community  said.

Karapetyan called the main problem of the village gas supply and the deplorable condition of intra-communal roads. Regarding the employment of the population, our interlocutor said that the main occupation of the villagers is agriculture and cattle breeding.
