The main direction of employment of the residents of the Khnushinak community of the Martuni region of Artsakh is agriculture. This was stated by the head of the Khnushinak community Kamo Mursalyan. “The villagers live their normal lives, of course, waiting for a long peace.

There are 535 inhabitants in the community, everyone is strongly attached to this land. People are cultivating gardens, at this time of the year the work is in full swing,” K. Mursalyan noted.

In Khnushinak there is a church of St. Astvatsatsin, built in the 19th century. Monuments have been created in the village in memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War and the Artsakh struggle. The head of the community said that 91 students study at the center of education. Residents are provided with electricity, round-the-clock water supply, and the village is gasified too.
