On April 7, the Armenian History Museum hosted an exhibition entitled ” Episodes of identity. An ornament”. The exhibition presented jewelry of the XVIII-XX centuries selected from the collection of the Armenian History Museum: bracelets, necklaces, belts, hats, etc., as well as labor tools and ethnographic photographs of Armenian masters.

The purpose of the exhibition is to reveal and present how and what jewelry Armenians wore, what meaning and significance they had, how Armenian jewelry spread in different countries, and most importantly – to draw the attention of modern Armenian masters to the origins of national art.
