Member of the Council and Executive Committee of the National Association of Armenian Studies and Research Stepan Pilikyan made a note on the occasion of the 107th commemoration of the Genocide of Armenians, which we briefly present to your attention: “We are focusing on 1915, but the Hamid crimes of 1894-96 are considered as the beginning of the Ottoman Turkish (genocidal) policy. We designate the year 1923 as the endpoint of the duration of the genocide. Unpunished genocide contributes to future crimes. Today’s children of Artsakh are the children of 1915. The criminal was inspired by the ability to avoid responsibility. The day will come when such criminal regimes as Turkey and Azerbaijan will be brought to justice.”
