The negotiations on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty cannot extend to the status of Artsakh and its future fate. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh David Babayan stated this in the Parliament of Artsakh. He confirmed the position of the official Stepanakert to continue the path to independence, adding that only the OSCE Minsk Group has the mandate to solve the problem.
According to the Artsakh Foreign Minister, the demarcation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan does not apply to Artsakh. In turn, the Chairman of the National Assembly of Artsakh Artur Tovmasyan noted that the issue of the status of Artsakh is given to the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group.
