In order to meet the demand of students and young professionals who contribute to Armenian-speaking creativity and professional development, a new program is being announced in Boston. The program will be held on May 28-29 at the NAASR Vartan Gregorian building. The event will be attended by actress and producer Sona Tatoyan, Dr. Christie Randall (University of Minnesota, Mankato), Dr. Lisa Guleseryan (Harvard University), and Dr. Khachig Muradian (Columbia University). The meeting creates an environment in which students and young specialists of universities can openly discuss, criticize and create in the Armenian language. Participants are expected to have at least a basic understanding of spoken Armenian (Eastern or Western). The program was made possible thanks to a grant from the Department of Armenian Communities of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
