The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out the tasks assigned to it in Artsakh. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation at twenty-seven observation posts around the clock. It is noted that no violations have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation. 

“Russian peacekeeping units escorted seven columns of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces along the Lachin corridor to the south. Engineering and sapper groups of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue to mine objects in different areas. During the day, 0.5 hectares of the territory were cleared. Monitoring was done in Shushi, Martakert, Martuni region, and in the Lachin corridor. In order to ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, the ongoing interaction with the General staffs of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia is maintained,” the message reads.
