The opening ceremony of the “Armenia” Square was held in the Thuane community of the Geneva district of Switzerland, next to the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Hakob and the Armenian Center. The Armenian Embassy in Switzerland reported this on Facebook. “During the event, Armenian Ambassador to Switzerland Andranik Hovhannisyan, Mayor of Thuane Gey Lavogel, Chairman of the foundation “St. Grigor Lusavorich” Daniel Papazyan delivered a speech. Ambassador A. Hovhannisyan, in particular, expressed gratitude to the Mayor and members of the Thuane City Council, as well as to those representatives of the Armenian community, thanks to whose efforts the “Armenia” Square was opened.
