The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry considers the accusations of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his visit to the Netherlands “motiveless”.

“The unfounded accusations made by the Armenian Prime Minister against Azerbaijan, including statements on humanitarian issues that are far from reality, show that the Armenian leadership is completely not sincere in the settlement of relations between the two countries, Abdullayeva said. The provision of maps of minefields by Armenia is not a “humanitarian gesture”, it was an obligation of Yerevan within the framework of the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020.  After signing this document, 219 people became victims of mines in Azerbaijan, and they are mostly civilians,” Abdullayeva said. As for the accusations of non-return of the arrested Armenians, Baku considers them saboteurs who were sent to the territory of Azerbaijan after the end of the war. “Unfounded accusations against Azerbaijan call into question Armenia’s readiness to act in the name of peace,” Abdullayeva said.
