A delegation headed by Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Alexey Kudrin, who arrived in Armenia on a working visit, visited the  Genocide of Armenians Memorial on May 14, accompanied by Chairman of the Audit Chamber of the Republic of Armenia Atom Janjugazyan. This is reported by the official website of the  Genocide of Armenians Museum-Institute. The guests met and presented the history of the creation of the memorial to the Director of the Genocide of Armenians Museum-Institute Harutyun Marutyan. He also presented to the guests the history of three khachkars installed on the territory of Tsitsernakaberd, which are dedicated to the memory of Armenians who died during ethnic cleansing on the territory of Azerbaijan at the end of the last century. The members of the delegation from Russia laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Genocide of  Armenians with a minute of silence. At the end of the visit, Mr. Kudrin planted a silver fir tree in the Memorial Park.
