Cartographer Ruben Galichyan showed the work of a cartographer named Deli, where Armenia stretches to the bank of the Kur River, and the part where Azerbaijan is today is the Shirma. This map from 1662, shows the territory of Asia, and Greater Armenia is written in the East. The cartographer presented more than 50 maps in the book “Armenia in the Old Dutch Maps”. According to him, on all these maps, where our region is located, there is the name Armenia. Even if there was no state, Armenians lived – it is written Armenia. There is Persia in this region, Turkey after the 15th century, and Azerbaijan does not exist on any map. It should be noted that the book “Armenia on ancient Dutch maps” was published in Armenia. This book is already available in universities and libraries in the Netherlands.
