RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Vahram Dumanyan and Deputy Minister Ara Khzmalyan left on an official visit to Paris on June 6 to participate in an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia’s membership in UNESCO. As part of the anniversary event, a festive concert will be held at UNESCO’s Paris headquarters on June 7. Famous Armenian and French performers will perform in the concert program. The program of the event also includes official speeches from the Armenian side and from the UNESCO leadership. During the official visit, the Minister and Deputy Minister are also scheduled to meet with UNESCO Deputy Director-General for Cultural Affairs Ernesto Ottone. The implementation of the cultural event in connection with the 30th anniversary of Armenia’s membership in UNESCO is aimed at popularizing Armenian culture and stimulating Armenian-French cultural ties.
