On June 16, a delegation headed by the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe of Croatia, Maria Peikinovic Buric, arrived in Armenia and visited the Genocide of Armenians Memorial Complex in Yerevan. She was accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan. In the memorial complex of the victims of the Genocide of Armenians, Deputy Director of the Museum-Institute for Museum Affairs Lusine Abrahamyan, welcoming the guests, presented the history of the creation of the memorial. The members of the European delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Genocide of Armenians with a minute of silence. The delegation, accompanied by Lusine Abrahamyan, also visited the Museum-Institute dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Genocide of Armenians and got acquainted with permanent and temporary exhibition.
