The Dutch Diary, with the assistance of the European magazine “Orer”, is launching a new literary project dedicated to Western Armenian women writers who lived and worked in the second half of the XIX century: Elpis Kesaratsyan, Srbuhi Tyusab, Sipil (sang Khanjyan), etc. The project’s motto is “Western Armenian women writers and Time”. The purpose of this project is to make available to readers the women of the Armenian intelligentsia who lived and worked in the second half of the XIX century, which is important from the point of view of the course and development of the history of Armenian literature. The project is led by a senior researcher at the Institute of Literature Manuk Abeghyan, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Naira Ambartsumyan. The first article is devoted to Srbuhi Tyusab.
