Despite the fact that the United States has broken off relations with Russia because of the war with Ukraine, they are ready to continue cooperation in the OSCE Minsk Group on the Artsakh issue in the name of a peaceful and long-term settlement of the problem. Last week, in an exclusive interview with ”Azatutyun”, US Deputy Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Kerin Donfrid said. “The United States is committed to supporting the process. We really want to be useful. The United States is also a member of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairmanship, which plays an important role in the settlement of the Artsakh problem. And we remain faithful to this process. We see that the European Union also plays an important role. So I feel that this is an opportunity for the region, and we will do everything to help Armenia achieve peace.” Western Armenia stands for the establishment of peace in Artsakh, but this should not happen at the expense of concessions of Armenian territories.
