The ancient city of Meya, built in the Diyadin province of the Agr province of Western Armenia, and the gorges formed around it for thousands of years attract at all times of the year with their beautiful and unique views. The ancient rock city, which previously served as a refuge and a security zone for many civilizations, is known to few people in the region. It still bears traces of history, where places of worship, tonirs, living quarters, and numerous caves are still preserved. Tourists visit the city of Meya, especially in summer. Here, the formations resembling a chimney formed in the rocks due to erosion, and various ornaments, and structures carved into the rocks attract the most attention. The TV company of Western Armenia calls on our compatriots to visit our ancient places, to be demanding in preserving identity and cultural values.
