The Bridge of Jerveshtik  is located 5 km northwest of the village of Mataghis in the Martakert region of the Republic of Artsakh on the Jerveshtik or Yeghishe Arakel River. Information about the time of construction has not been preserved, but the design features allow us to date the structure to the 12th-13th centuries. The time of destruction is also unknown, but it should have happened much earlier than 1884. The cornerstones of the arch of the bridge were polished, and the rest of the sections and especially the high foundation were lined with raw stone.
