As a result of flooding in Aralyk province of Igdir province of Western Armenia and in Dogubayazet province of Agri province, numerous houses and cars were underwater, and the work of the adjacent customs was stopped. Rain at the foot of Mount Ararat and in the province of Aralyk of Igdir turned into a flood that carried away huge stones and a lot of land from the foot of Mount Ararat to nearby villages and the district center. The rocks that collapsed as a result of the flood blocked the Igdir-Nakhichevan highway. Some villages in Gavar remained completely underwater. Although there are no human losses as a result of the flood, the material damage is great. Western Armenia expresses its support to those indigenous Armenians who have suffered to some extent due to the flood and expresses its readiness to help and protect their rights.
