After the war, the village of David Bek of the Syunik region lost not only fields and pastures, direct communication with Goris, but also faced security problems. The village is located between the towns of Goris and Kapan. After the war, the Azerbaijani military approached the village by 1.5-2 km, blocked the road to Goris, creating serious problems with security. The border school of David Bek is located within the line of sight of the Azerbaijani positions (1.5-2 km). The deterioration of farming conditions led to the outflow of the population from the village. Other problems include a shortage of drinking and irrigation water. People live in constant anxiety. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow. Western Armenia expresses its support to the villagers and urges them not to leave the village in any case.
