In the Sarai province of Western Armenia, treasure hunters in the hope of finding gold destroyed a sacred rock. They tried to break through the Urartian door with a height of 5 meters. This magnificent building, dating back to the period of the Ararat Kingdom, popularly known as the Mher Door, is of great importance to the Armenian people both in terms of faith and in historical terms. The holy place called “The Door of Mher” and the reservoirs located on the adjacent territory have come down to us from the Urartian period and are hidden in the Van fortress, but the historical values located there have not yet been fully discovered.
