Five Armenian organizations have submitted a report to the UN Committee on racial discrimination by Azerbaijan against Armenians․ “The state policy of Armenophobia, hatred towards Armenians by high-ranking officials of Azerbaijan, state propaganda against the Armenophobia of the Armenian cultural and religious heritage, absolute impunity for crimes motivated by ethnic hatred against Armenians, including beheading and torture during the lifetime of individuals, led to an increase in hate crimes against Armenians in Artsakh during and after the war 2020. The above examples and events show that there is a state policy of ethnic hatred and discrimination against ethnic Armenians in Azerbaijan, which has escalated especially in the context of the Artsakh conflict and after the 2020 war,” the report prepared by 5 civil society organizations says.
