
Armenia and Bolivia celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and Bolivia were established exactly 30 years ago, in 1992. July 27. The diplomatic mission of Armenia in Bolivia is carried out through the Embassy of Armenia in Brazil. It should be recalled that both chambers of the Bolivian Parliament have adopted a bill on the recognition and condemnation of the Genocide of Armenians. The documents adopted by both chambers of the Bolivian Parliament, in particular, state: “On the night of April 24, 1915, the authorities of the Ottoman Empire, the leaders of the Unity and Progress Party, the Young Turks began arrests, planned exile of representatives of the Armenian politicians, scientists, writers, artists, clergy, doctors, public figures and specialists, and then mass pogroms of the Armenian civilian population in the territories of the historical Western Armenia and Anatolia”. Both Houses of Parliament “reaffirm their commitment to human rights, the values of truth and justice, express their support and condemn the policy of denial of the Genocide of Armenians “.
