In Western Armenia, Armenian weddings generally began in the autumn months and ended at the end of the Barekendan. In some places, the wedding period ended with Trndez. It was necessary to prepare seriously for the wedding, as it was quite expensive and time-consuming. Before the wedding, a special ceremony was chosen by a group of people, consisting of unmarried young people. The rituals and traditions of Western Armenia were spread by local indigenous Armenians all over the world after migration, forming the culture of other countries.
