In Western Armenia, as in any other country, the beginning of decorative and applied art was laid by a variety of folk crafts that developed and achieved high artistic performance. Ceramics, jewelry, carpet making, lace and much more-it all started with this. And so, the Armenians began to develop  art in Western Armenia and were able to create their own Armenian art in accordance with their traditions and make it part of the Armenian culture, which has been passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.
