The Melik Yegan Palace Complex, located in the village of Togh, is one of the best examples of 18th-century Armenian civil architecture.
The partially preserved complex consists of several buildings designed for different purposes: reception, social housing and urban type apartments. The life story of Melik Yegan is also interesting, who received a melik (official title) from Nadir Shah and fought with all his might to preserve the independence of his people.
Since 2009, excavations and restoration of the complex have been carried out here. There is a small museum in the area with exhibits from different eras. Strictly speaking, this was not a palace in the true sense of the word, but the main house of the estate.
