The EU remains concerned that ongoing violations of freedom of movement along the Berdzor road affect human rights in Artsakh, including the rights to health, education and food security.

According to Infoport, the EU said in a statement.

“The EU calls on the Azerbaijani authorities and all those responsible to guarantee the freedom and safety of movement on the road connecting the Goris region to Stepanakert, in accordance with the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, and to respect the international court ruling of February 22, 2023.

The EU encourages Azerbaijan and Armenia to continue to engage in dialogue, including at the level of leaders. We look forward to the continuation of the peace process with the support of European Council President Michel,” the statement reads.
