The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh issued a comment on the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says: “On March 7, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a message that on the same day, accompanied by peacekeepers of the Russian Federation, a column of military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia passed along the Stepanakert-Lisagor road. 

In this regard, we consider it necessary to emphasize that the information disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan does not correspond to the reality and is another lie aimed at misleading the international community by the Azerbaijani side.

 Azerbaijani authorities also spread such false information about the transfer of so-called mines from Armenia to Artsakh, but on February 22 the International Court of Justice rejected this lie at a high level.

At the same time, it is obvious that the Azerbaijani authorities are trying to divert the attention of the international community from the terrorist operation carried out by the Azerbaijani armed forces on March 5, from the continuation of the policy of terrorism and ethnic cleansing against the people of Artsakh, as well as to prepare the ground for possible new provocations.

West Armenia condemns the actions of the occupying Azerbaijan, which are aimed at deceiving the international community. Until now, in front of the eyes of the civilized world, Azerbaijan continues to close the Berdzor road by a false environmental action, creating a serious food crisis in Artsakh. Obviously, the goal is ethnic cleansing, which they want to carry out, but this plan will fail for them.
