
Under the auspices of the French Cinematheque, “All the Memory of the World” took place within the framework of the 10th International Jubilee Festival of Restored and Archival Films, “Hamo Beknazarian, from the program “Pioneer of Armenian Cinema”.
The international premieres of the restored versions of the films “The House on the Volcano” (1928), “Yerkir Nairi” (1930) and “The Girl” (1942) took place within the framework of the project.
With this screening, the program of state events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenian cinema, which is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the RA, was launched.
The Armenian Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajyan was present at the exhibition. In her speech, the ambassador expressed her gratitude for the attention and appreciation given to Armenian cinematographic art. She highly appreciated the cooperation established between the French Cinematheque and the National Film Center of Armenia. The program of the festival this year presents 85 films of the great masters of world cinema.
It is worth noting that Armenia participates for the first time in this prestigious film festival.
