The project titled “A Current Perspective on Indigenous Rights”, launched by the Hrant Dink Foundation in July 2020, has been completed.

The final product of the project, a report written by Ohannes Kılıçdağı and titled “Narrow Shirt: Problems of Armenian Institutions in Turkey and Suggestions for Solutions” was published. The report was prepared in the light of the findings of fifty-four interviews with administrators and officials, as well as four workshops to which academics, lawyers and representatives of civil society organizations were invited to evaluate the problems and solutions of Armenian schools, Armenian foundations and the Armenian Patriarchate.

The report, which focuses on the legal, economic, social and current problems of Armenian institutions and recommendations for solving these problems, also aims to raise the awareness of politicians, civil society organizations and the public on indigenous rights and to shed light on advocacy efforts to be carried out on minority rights.

The English version of the report will be published in April
