A film will be made about the life of Hrant Dink, the editor of the newspaper “Agos”, who was killed on January 19, 2007 in Constantinople.

The writer and musician Sina Kologlu announced this on his Twitter microblog. According to him, the script of the film was written by the Turkish director, screenwriter Barysh Pirhasan, and Zeynep Gunay will direct the director’s work. The filming will start in 2024.

It should be remembered that Hrant Dink was killed in front of the editorial office of the newspaper “Agos”. He always spoke openly about the genocide against Armenians and the problems of hidden Armenians. In 2022, the President of Western Armenia elevated Hrant Dink to the rank of Righteous for Western Armenia in honor of his struggle for human dignity and freedom of conscience.
