In the village of Avetaranots, you can see three castles belonging to the Shahnazarian emirs and built in the 18th century. In the southern part is the palace of Bagi melik, which has several capitals. In the western part of the village, next to the big rock, is the second palace, and north of it is the palace of Melik Shahnazar. The general good condition of the palace complexes conveys important information about the way of life and lifestyle of the Karabakh courtiers of that time. Currently, the village is occupied by the Baku authorities.
