On the night of March 30, Baku terrorists closed the Goris-Stepanakert highway between the villages of Aghavno and Tegh. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh.

“The new dirt road Tegh-Kornidzor of Syunik region bypassing the closed road is already ready, which connected in 2022, on the new road Kornidzor-Hin shen put into operation in August. The work of paving the road Tegh-Kornidzor is underway by the Republic of Armenia.

The Tegh-Kornidzor dirt road is passable and, given the ongoing blockade of Artsakh, it is possible to carry out humanitarian supplies to Artsakh by Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross. This road, by the way, at the border of the Republic of Artsakh, near the bridge of the Hakar River, is controlled by Russian peacekeeping troops,” the message said.

The government of Western Armenia has repeatedly raised the issue of the Armenian territories occupied by the Baku authorities and the genocidal policy pursued by them. The closure of the highway is one of the most striking manifestations of this. The government of Western Armenia, represented by President Armenag Aprahamian, has already appealed to the international institutions, demanding a follow-up of the decisions they have taken.
