President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Day of Motherhood and Beauty.
“Dear Armenian women, in this difficult and crucial time for us, the Armenian mother is the axis around which and through which the desired image of our dreamed homeland is woven. The heart of wounded Artsakh continues to beat for the noble goal of having a strong and complete homeland, and the mothers of Artsakh also confirm this by their behavior these days. The world of Artsakh is also a child and needs the care and warmth of its mother, the entire Armenian nation. I am convinced that it is the mothers who will keep the Homeland alive with unwavering dedication, like their children, who will tell the world and continue to present the Biblical Land with great deeds…
Eternal glory to the devotees who fought for the freedom and independence of our people at all times. I bow to the immeasurable strength of mind and will of the heroic mothers, wives, sisters and daughters of our holy martyrs…
Happy Mother’s Day and Happy Beauty Day.”
The Government of Western Armenia also congratulates all Armenian women on the occasion of Mother’s Day and wishes them the best. We would also like to remind you that yes, Artsakh is the full child of the Armenian people and this fact was confirmed by the State of Armenia, Poghos Nubar in 1919 and 1920. Recognized de facto and de jure, the State of Western Armenia is the most legally recognized state in the world. Even today, Artsakh is an inseparable part of the Republic of Western Armenia and we are still concerned about the fate of Artsakh and, as a striking example of this, we want to emphasize the fact that so far, only the government of Western Armenia is dealing with the forcibly displaced people of Artsakh from their homeland, and on the basis of the application of the displaced people of Shushi, has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights and the procedure has already started.
