The employees of the Sotk mine in Gegharkunik region of the Republic of Armenia were sent to paid forced dismissal as a result of Azerbaijani fire, because of the impossibility to work. 

The company “GeoProMining Gold” informed about it in a conversation with NEWS.am.

It should be noted that since April 13, the company’s work has been stopped as a result of periodic gunfire in the direction of the mine.

“We tried to restart the work of the mine eight or nine times, but we stopped it because of the Azerbaijani shooting. The company decided to send the employees on paid forced layoff until May 15,” the company said.
