The “FestiVar” music festival, organized by Channel 1 with the support of the RA Ministry of Education and Culture, will be held in Vanadzor, Gavar and Sisian. 

Participants will have the opportunity to taste local products, visit the hidden and famous corners of the towns and enjoy the concert program. “With participation in the festival, we’re wrapping up our concert season, which was full,” says the orchestra’s artistic director and conductor Sergey Smbatyan. 

According to him, the festival program is really interesting and creative: “Symphonic Variety” by Sona Rubenyan and Iveta Mukuchyan, “Symphonic Reincarnation”. Roland Gasparyan and “Reincarnation Orchestra”. According to the TV company’s executive director, the festival’s impact is very important, as people will visit Vanadzor, Gavar and Sisian on these days, and perhaps return, which can contribute to the development of tourism in these towns.

Talking about the “Armenia” painting, he says that Saryan’s painting attracted them because all the landscapes of Armenia are represented on the canvas, i.e. mountains, rivers, forests, there’s a festive scene. “The bright colors that Sarian uses in his paintings are very attractive. Our festival is also synonymous with bright colors and joy,” concludes Movsisyan.
