The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has given Baku until August 8 to provide information on Vagif Khachatryan.

“Baku is obliged to provide the court with information on the place of detention, the conditions of detention, the state of health, the medical care received and the possible return of this person,” the RA representative told International Legal Affairs.

A 68-year-old resident of Artsakh, a peaceful inhabitant of the village of Patara, was arrested on Saturday by Azerbaijani border guards. Vagif Khachatryan was being transported to Yerevan for an emergency operation accompanied by the Red Cross.
