The Paris City Council unanimously adopted a resolution granting honorary citizenship of the city of Paris to the Armenians of Artsakh. The information is reported by the Armenian embassy in France.

“Through this resolution, the Paris City Council condemns the continued crimes committed by Azerbaijan against the people of Artsakh. It also condemns the military aggression unleashed on September 19 and the process of genocide carried out against the Armenians of Artsakh,” the message said.

It should be noted that as confirmation of the continuity of the support provided by Paris to the people of Artsakh, according to the said resolution, the Armenians of Artsakh are also awarded honorary citizenship of Paris in a symbolic manner.
