The International Court of Justice in The Hague has scheduled a hearing on October 12 regarding the lawsuit filed by Eastern Armenia against Baku over the situation in Artsakh, in accordance with the Convention on Racial Discrimination, according to the press release of the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Previously, Eastern Armenia filed a complaint against Baku with the International Court of Justice under the Convention on Racial Discrimination regarding the situation in Artsakh, calling on the Court to take temporary measures against Baku.

“The International Court of Justice, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, will hold a public hearing on the application of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Eastern Armenia v. Baku) on Thursday, October 12, 2023 . at the Peace Palace in The Hague,” said the statement published on the court’s website.

It is reported that the hearings will be devoted to Yerevan’s request to take temporary measures against Baku.
