Moscow is ready to organize a meeting of representatives of Yerevan and Baku to discuss the issue of signing a peace treaty.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this at the summit of CIS heads of state in Bishkek.

Russia will help ensure that these negotiations end in a peace agreement, which will be signed by the leaders of the two countries.

Of course, the choice is always up to the respective country; Russia is only ready to create the appropriate conditions for this, Putin emphasized.

Recalling that with the support of Russia, relevant trilateral documents have been prepared.

“All this time, painstaking work has been carried out in a trilateral format – Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan – aimed at normalizing relations between the two capitals.”

Also recalling: Russian peacekeepers, within the framework of their powers, conscientiously carried out their mission in Artsakh.
